Our Stock Market Challenge workshop is a fantastic and fun way to engage your clients and stakeholders as well as making money for charity. On 15th September 2015 we delivered a Stock Market Challenge Charity night for the Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambridge, Sponsored by Rathbones Stockbrokers and hosted at the historic Cambridge Union Society debating chamber.
18 teams from local legal and financial firms bought tables of ten people and competed against one another to see which team could make the most profit from their original £15,000 investment! Held over five trading days with posh fish and chips, and a couple of drinks, Santander rolled out the eventual winners with more that £402,000 at the end of the game!
The event, raffle and auction on the night made more than £10,000 for the charity who are raising funds for a new hospice building in Cambridge and are looking to repeat the event in 2016.
