Bernie hosted the #Tycoonathon events at the Peter Jones Foundation’s #Entfest19 at University of Buckingham, 28th June 2019
There were two consecutive events, for Primary and Secondary students, based on the Love Buckingham brand – teams had to work together to either
- Devise the Shop of the Future for Buckingham’s High Street , OR,
- Help the People of Buckingham to live a Greener Life.
Bernie did what he does best: MC-ing the event, welcoming the Mayor and Mayoress of Buckingham and asking them to say a few words, getting the teams of students enthused and pushing the teams to invent their most creative and impressive solutions to the challenges set.
The winning teams: George Grenville Primary Academy, Queen Elizabeth Grammar and Ashbourne Academy were presented with their awards by Peter Jones at the afternoon’s Graduation Ceremony.
