Earlier in the year we were commissioned to design a new Social Enterprise and ICT tool to help The Transformation Trust and Dell to deliver the ‘Powering Transformation’ project in schools across the SE of the UK.
Students used our bespoke-designed pack of information and teacher resources as well as over £30,000 of brand new Dell and Windows 8 equipment to record their answers to the question “How would YOU change the world in a week?” using technology to drive new solutions to social and community problems local to the schools and / or the wider world.
The responses have been amazing with 100s of video entries uploaded to the Transformation Trust’s online store.
The media were keen to see how the next generation would use technology to improve peoples’ lives and this article appeared in the Education section of Computer Weekly magazine based on the Powering Transformation project being run at Walworth Academy.
